Cambier Parc

After running fourth on the main track in her career debut in November 2018 at Aqueduct, Cambier Parc switched to the grass for her second race and dominated with a four-length runaway victory on Jan. 2 in her 3-year-old bow. She followed with another impressive victory rallying from off the pace to win the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride Stakes on March 2 at Gulfstream.

After finishing fourth in the Grade 3 Edgewood Stakes on the Longines Kentucky Oaks undercard, Cambier Parc bounced back to win the Grade 3 Wonder Again Stakes on June 6 at Belmont Park, where she reeled in stablemate Newspaperofrecord in the final furlong to prevail.

Cambier Parc subsequently finished third in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational Stakes July 6 at Belmont Park. She then shipped west for the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks Presented by The Jockey Club and closed powerfully for a visually impressive 1 1/4-length victory. 

Cambier Parc employed different tactics in her next start as she dueled for the lead and eventually set the pace in the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes Oct. 12 at Keeneland. She opened up a clear lead in early stretch and held off a late bid from European invader Castle Lady to win by a length and post her second-straight Grade 1 win.

By leading sire Medaglia d'Oro, Cambier Parc is out of 2007 Canadian Horse of the Year Sealy Hill, a three-time Canadian champion who also swept the Canadian Triple Tiara for 3-year-old fillies during her Horse of the Year campaign. Cambier Parc is Sealy Hill's fourth graded stakes winner from five winners.
