Bulletin won his career debut in September 2018 for trainer Todd Pletcher with a front-running victory in a turf sprint at Gulfstream Park. The promising debut gave Pletcher the confidence to try Bulletin in the inaugural Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint, and the chestnut City Zip colt rewarded his confidence on Nov. 2 at Churchill Downs. He broke alertly and quickly took the lead, repelling a bid from runner-up Chelsea Cloisters in early stretch before shaking clear to a dominant win.
