British Idiom won her career debut by 3 ½ lengths in August 2019 at Saratoga Race Course. She showed her class in her second start when pulling away to a dominant 6 ½-length win in the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades Stakes Oct. 4 at Keeneland to earn an expenses-paid starting spot in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Nov. 1 at Santa Anita Park. In that race she remained undefeated, running down race favorite Donna Veloce and engaging her in an exciting stretch battle before crossing the wire a neck in front.

In her 3-year-old debut, British Idiom tasted defeat for the first time when she ran a distant second to Finite in the Feb. 15 Rachel Alexandra Stakes presented by Fasig-Tipton at Fair Grounds.
