Blond Me, a 5-year-old Tamayuz mare, returned to North America after a two-year absence and won the Grade 1 E.P. Taylor Stakes by a length over Kitten’s Roar at Woodbine on Oct. 15, 2017. She made her first five career starts in Europe, winning twice, but in late summer 2015 shipped to the U.S. and made two starts in graded stakes. She finished second to Senteiro Italia in the Grade 2 Sands Point Stakes and then sixth in the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes.

After that, Blond Me returned to Europe and competed in stakes in four countries, winning the Group 2 International Topkapi Trophy in Turkey and the Group 2 Betfred Middleton Stakes in England. The latter race came in May 2017, after which Blond Me made two more starts in England, finishing second in a Group 1 stakes, before coming to Woodbine, where she won at odds of 8.45-1 for trainer Andrew Balding.
