Bird Song won three of seven starts as a 3-year-old in his first season of racing in 2016. The gray or roan Unbridled's Song colt finished second in the Grade 3 Hal's Hope Stakes at Gulfstream Park in his 4-year-old bow before earning his first stakes win in March 2017 in the Grade 3 Fred W. Hooper Stakes.
He then won the Grade 3 Alysheba Stakes at Churchill Downs on Kentucky Oaks day over a sloppy track.
