Bahamian Squall has been a competitive colt throughout his career, finishing on the board in all but four of his starts. His first stakes win came in December of 2012 after five tries and he kept that form into the next year, placing in his first graded stakes in February 2013.
His biggest career achievement came in the Smile Sprint Handicap over the summer when he beat champion Trinniberg among others at Calder. He finished second in the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap in his very next start.
