Aurelia's Belle broke her maiden at first asking at Keeneland in October but didn't race again as a 2-year-old. As a sophomore she ran in the money in a trio of graded stakes at Gulfstream before returning to the winner's circle in the Grade 3 Bourbonette Oaks at Turfway Park.
The filly is by Belmont Stakes-winning Lemon Drop Kid, sire of two millionaires and six Grade 1 winners. She is the first stakes winner out of the Danzig mare Aurelia.
