From the first crop of multiple graded stakes winner Run Away and Hide, Are You Kidding Me put together back-to-back victories in Canada before finishing second in his stakes debut in the 2012 Summer Stakes (Can-G2). IN September 2013, Are You Kidding Me won the Grade 3 Kent Stakes at Delaware Park to pick up his first stakes victory. He added a pair of graded stakes victories in summer 2015 when he scored back-to-back wins in the Grade 2 Eclipse Stakes and Grade 2 Nijinsky Stakes, both at Woodbine. Later that year he added a victory in the Grade 2 Autumn Stakes, also at Woodbine.

After an unplaced finish in his 6-year-old bow in the Grade 1 Maker's 46 Mile Stakes, Are You Kidding me got back on track with a repeat win in the Eclipse Stakes in late May 2016. he also scored a repeat win in the Autumn Stakes later that year and picked up a victory in the Grade 3 Durham Cup Stakes.
Are You Kidding Me won an allowance in four starts at seven in 2017 but finished in the top three in all of his starts with a pair of runner-up finishes in graded stakes. He regained his winning stride in an allowance race at Woodbine in his 2018 debut before winning the Eclipse Stakes for the third time on May 26, 2018. Are You Kidding Me ran third in the Dominion Day Stakes and second in the Autumn Stakes but was winless in his final three starts of 2018.
After an unplaced finish in his 9-year-old debut, Are You Kidding Me ran third in the Grade 2 Eclipse Stakes in his bid for a fourth win in the race. Two starts later, he halted a six-race winless stretch with a victory in the Grade 3 Dominion Day Stakes in June 2019.
