Laurel Park, Race 5, $100,000 Frank Whiteley Jr. Stakes

#8 Rockinn On Bye: This cagey veteran is still at the top of his game at age 8 and he’s cutting back here to his preferred distance of six furlongs. He almost always puts in a late run and has been more than competitive at this level. He’s going to get a ton of pace to run into and you might actually get a fair price on him.

Laurel Park, Race 6, $100,000 King Leathurbury Stakes

#9 Dirty: This horse ran arguably his best race in his lone start over the Laurel turf last year at this same exact distance. He crushed a field of allowance horses that day by five lengths. His company here might be a bit tougher but just about everything that runs at Laurel shipping in from New York and trainer Jeremiah Englehart has been live. He and jockey Jorge Vargas have hit a wild 36 percent clip. Dirty should only pad those stats.
