R Harper Rose, a Florida-bred Khozan filly, was one of the star performers at Gulfstream Park during late summer and fall 2023, winning her first three races by a combined 16 lengths. The last of those came in the FTBOA Florida Sire Susan’s Girl Stakes against fellow statebreds on Oct. 21. Her winning streak came to an end in the FTBOA Florida Sire My Dear Stakes on Dec. 2, but R Harper Rose still ran well, finishing second.

After a two-month break, the filly returned to test graded stakes company and did so successfully, driving clear late under regular jockey Edgard Zayas to tally her fourth win in five career starts.
R Harper Rose is out of the winning Yes It’s True mare True Bliss, and is from the family of Grade 3 winner Hierro and multiple stakes winner Cherokee Triangle.
