Caramel Swirl won her first graded stakes race at Keeneland on Oct. 23, 2021. Sent off as the 3.30-1 second choice in the Grade 2 Lexus Raven Run Stakes, she rallied from seventh and got up in the last jump to win a photo finish over Joy's Rocket. Junior Alvarado had the winning mount.

During 2022-23, the daughter of Union Rags made seven more starts, winning three. She picked up her second graded stakes win in the 2023 Grade 3 Vagrancy Stakes at Belmont Park, and then her third one via disqualification in the 2023 Grade 2 Gallant Bloom Stakes during the Belmont at the Big A Meet. Caramel Swirl also finished second in the 2022 Grade 1 Ballerina Stakes to champion Goodnight Olive.
