Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens talks about his career, the reason for his retirement in 2005, and his comeback in 2013.
Stevens has won more than 4,900 races in his illustrious career and his mounts have earned more than $223 million.
Stevens won the Kentucky Derby in 1988 with Winning Colors and also won the first jewel of the Triple Crown in 1995 aboard Thunder Gulch and in 1997 on Silver Charm. He picked up his third win in the Preakness Stakes in 2013 when he guided Oxbow to victory. Stevens previously won the Preakness with Silver Charm in 1997 and Point Given in 2001.
