Saturday, March 30 – Breakfast at Gulfstream – Spend your Florida Derby morning at Breakfast at Gulfstream from 7-10 a.m. in the north tiki area. Featuring an $8 breakfast buffet, and great photo opportunities, Breakfast at Gulfstream is great for the entire family.
Saturday, March 30 – A Day Full of Giveaways – Beginning at Breakfast at Gulfstream and continuing through the day, Florida Derby day will feature three giveaways. A message fan will be given away in the north tiki area from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. with purchase of a program. In the breezeway, a commemorative Florida Derby pin will be handed out – also with program purchase – from 11:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. From 11:45 a.m.-3 p.m. in Silks Simulcast Room, there will be a Florida Derby polo shirt giveaway with purchase of a seat in Silks, the Grandstand, or the walking ring.

Sunday, March 31 – Easter Sunday Buffet – Celebrate Easter Sunday with a lavish buffet in Ten Palms Restaurant. Seats are $50 (includes admission and buffet) and reservations can be made by calling 954-457-6974.
Where to Watch On-Track
The Apron – For an up-close and personal view of the races, the apron is the perfect spot to take in all of the Florida Derby action. Accessible from both the north and south entrances, the apron is home to dozens of first-come, first-served picnic tables.
THE WALKING RING
The Walking Ring – The walking ring offers picturesque views of Gulfstream Park’s equine and human athletes just before they head out to the track. Three large-screen TVs surround the walking ring making it the perfect place to scope out your selection or relax and spend an afternoon.
Fountain Club – Located adjacent to the walking ring, Gulfstream Park’s new Fountain Club Restaurant offers world-class dining in addition to beautiful views. On Florida Derby day, there will be a $200 food and beverage minimum for any party of two and $400 F&B minimum on any party of four.
Grandstand – Containing roughly 1,200 seats, the Gulfstream Park Grandstand offers great views of the track. Going for $10/$2 on normal race days, seats for the Florida Derby cost $80/$50. General admission as well as parking is always free at Gulfstream Park. Seating information is available by calling 954-457-6201.
Ten Palms – Home to over 100 tables and picturesque views of the track, Gulfstream’s Ten Palms Restaurant features an elegant dining setting and an eclectic menu. Windows seats on Florida Derby Day will go for $200 and non-windows seats for $175. All seats include admission, lavish buffet and more. Call 954-457-6974 for reservations.
Christine Lee’s – The historic Christine Lee’s Asian Steakhouse occupies Gulfstream Park’s third floor and features an award-winning menu and beautiful aerial views of the racetrack. Reservations can be made by calling 954-457-6255.
Tiki Area – Located just north of the Grandstand, Gulfstream Park’s tiki area combines both the thrill of live racing with a laid-back, party atmosphere. Relax at one of dozens of picnic tables while enjoying mouth-watering southern offerings from Gulfstream’s Stretch’s BBQ stand. The tiki bar serves up ice-cold drinks all afternoon and the view of the track is top-notch.
Frank’s Beach – Located on the south end of the track, Frank’s Beach offers a relaxing atmosphere filled with sand, lounge chairs and a tiki bar. Root on your favorite horse or work on your tan – it’s up to you.
