America’s Best Racing
Kentucky Derby (G1) and Preakness Stakes (G1) winner I’ll Have Another was paraded between the third and fourth races on Saturday at Hollywood Park as Southern California racing fans were given a chance to bid farewell to the 2012 dual classic winner.
I’ll Have Another captivated the sport of horse racing with a four-race winning streak that included Grade 1 victories in the Santa Anita Derby, Kentucky Derby, and Preakness before a tendon injury forced the Flower Alley colt to miss the Belmont Stakes (G1).
Campaigned by J. Paul Reddam and trained by Doug O’Neill, I’ll Have Another subsequently was sold to Japanese interests for a career as a stallion in that country.
