Blog - FASHION

Summer is officially upon us and with the hot weather comes cut-off shorts, tank tops, and flip-flops! Our poor feet have come out of hiding for the summer, which means it’s time to give them some much-needed TLC. When it comes to welcoming the summer months, one of my favorite things to do is head over to the local drug store and pick out new nail polishes for my feet. Adding bright and bold pops of color on your toes is a summer necessity!

Essie (www.essie.com) is my favorite brand of nail polish. I love the variety of colors the brand carries … not to mention the polish dries quickly and stays on forever. I’ve narrowed it down to my four summer nail polish must haves:

BEACH BUM BLU

ABR-Beach -Bum -Blu

Be reminded of the beach everyday with this great color on your toes! This medium seaside blue nail polish has a peal finish to it that really pops … think mermaid.

PLAY DATE

ABR-Play -Date

Lilac is a trendy color right now and this polish keeps your feet looking fresh and stylish. It is a very soft purple, creating a light and airy look that isn’t too bold, making it perfect for date night.

MINT CANDY APPLE

ABR-Mint -Candy -Apple

This cute color is perfect for any season. It goes on thick and really pops! I love wearing this color when I go to the beach … it’s a great compliment to the sand between my toes.

BALLET SLIPPERS

ABR-Ballet -Slippers

An Essie classic, this color is a MUST have for one big reason: it flatters almost everyone! The soft pink is the perfect neutral for your fingers or toes. It has a pretty wet finish to it, which looks great paired with a cute summer dress and sandals.
