In our last post, we built an outfit around LK Bennett’s vintage Dahlia shoes. This time, we’ve selected a few standout dresses that require little more support than a smart pair of shoes and a neutral hat.
I was in LK Bennett’s Beverly Hills store yesterday and my eyes went directly to the Flo printed shift dress. The floral design features a button-up collar and pleated skirt, cinched at the waist with a tie.
For shoes, I’d go with the sandy strappy patent leather sandal, which wraps around the foot in a way that isn’t too fancy for daytime wear, but gives your legs a bit of length.
I’m kind of loving this Hazel leather tote bag for its vintage design and supporting role as one helluva an accessory.
Don’t you look smart!
Honorable mention goes to the silver cap sleeve dress, which really only requires nude heels and oversized sunglasses (if you’re going with a hat, might I suggest something in the cream family so it doesn’t clash with your super-awesome dress)
