America’s Best Racing and DerbyJackpot team up to provide horseplayers with their best bets of the weekend in a regular feature blog that will run on Fridays.

Each week, one of our crack handicappers - Jose Contreras, Dan Tordjman, Victoria Garofalo or Cory Moelis – will provide at least one “Best Bet” of the weekend, ideal for a win bet.

The post also will include some combination of additional bets for the weekend.

For some posts, our handicappers will try to identify a longshot play of the weekend, a nice opportunity to swing for the fences on a win bet or to take a shot with a show bet.

Our handicappers also will look for strong exacta plays for the weekend or occasionally try to spot a nice opportunity to bet a trifecta or superfecta.

Place your bets at DerbyJackpot. It's the easiest and most fun online horse betting site out there. Races open for betting about five minutes before post time. Place your bets and you can walk away with some extra cash in your pocket.

Exacta Box (Gonzo Bet)

Fair Grounds, Race 7, Red Camelia Stakes, 5:22 p.m. ET

#3 TENSAS HARBOR: Coming off 4 ½-length win in February at Delta Downs, Tensas Harbor Beyer Speed Figure's are on the rise and we saw that one mile looks right in her comfort zone; this race should suit her well.

#8 PRISSY BELE: First time back on the grass this year looks to be a good one for Prissy Bele, who has the speed to be there all the way at one mile.

Best Bet (Win Bet/Monkey Bet)

Santa Anita Park, Race 8, San Luis Rey Stakes, 7 p.m. ET

#8 FINNEGANS WAKE: Towers over this field while looking to extend his turf résumé and his Grade 2 winning streak to four. Finnegans Wake, the morning-line favorite, genuinely looks overwhelming for this 1 ½-mile turf race with jockey Victor Espinoza aboard. They look to triumph over the other horses in the race despite carrying top weight of 123 pounds.

Best Bet (Win Bet/Monkey Bet)

Aqueduct, Race 3, Stymie Stakes, 2:18 p.m. ET

#3 VYJACK: He’s the horse for course and was second in his second race off a long layoff in his last start. He’s eligible to improve and run a nice race here in this comeback from a three-month freshening, especially with 27% winning jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. aboard. Let’s hope the New York weather doesn’t cause another race-day cancellation for NYRA, or for me, because I am oh so ready for it to be and feel like spring.

Exacta Box (Gonzo Bet)

Gulfstream Park, Race 8, 4:30 p.m. ET

One, two, buckle my shoe ...

#1 MOMENTARY MAGIC: Under jockey Johnny V and for trainer James Bond, Momentary Magic has speed to spare. Despite the layoff of more than six months, her latest workouts and being on the rail make me believe she’s got what it takes to come back and win.

#2 SPYIN FEELIN: Lighting the toteboard up in her first race and maiden win at 22-to-1 last month with a nice time and speed figure, Spyin Feelin’s big jump against these winners looks like a good sign. She’s worked two, solid bullets since and might be this good to repeat her maiden win.

Hey, I’m thinking these two might go 1-2 around the track.
