Angie Athayde Stevens is the owner of Meticulous Talent Management, a Southern California-based talent agency for actors and athletes, including several top jockeys. She has worked in the film industry for 12 years as a producer, casting director, assistant director and manager. Stevens has worked on over 35 feature films including What Women Want, Something’s Gotta Give, Terminator 3, Charlie's Angels 2 and Seabiscuit. She has a special place in her heart for Seabiscuit, as she met her husband, jockey Gary Stevens, on set. She continues to work in the entertainment industry and resides in Los Angeles with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.

What I would like to see more of in Thoroughbred racing: Transparency, consistency, unity and more sponsors for the jockeys and trainers. Racing needs to have a national commissioner if there is to be any consistency and enforcement of regulations and violations.
What I would like to see less of in Thoroughbred racing: negativity, lack of unity, excuses
Three words that define what Thoroughbred racing means to me: excitement, adventure, work

Favorite All-time Thoroughbred: Rock Hard Ten
My personal best moment in the sport of Thoroughbred Racing: 1. Watching (my husband) Gary Stevens win the 2013 Preakness aboard Oxbow. 2. Getting the Maserati deal done for the field four days before the 2013 Kentucky Derby.

My Heroes: my parents, anyone who has served in the military, anyone who has overcome tremendous odds and children battling life threatening diseases

My philosophy on life: Life is too short to be anything but happy and positive! Always look on the bright side! Be kind to others and treat others the way you want to be treated.
