School On a Hill made his debut at Arlington Park, breaking his maiden by 2 3/4 lengths. He then ran in the Summer Stakes (G2) at Woodbine a few weeks later, finishing seventh before shipping to Keeneland for the Dixiana Breeders' Futurity.
The Student Council colt is a 2012 Keeneland September yearling sale graduate, selling for $18,000. He is out of a stakes winning mare and is from the family of international champion Bluebird and multiple Grade 1 winner Java Gold.
