The winner of Woodbine's Swynford Stakes in his second start, Conquest Titan won the race easily by 5 1/4 lengths. He then stepped up to Grade 1 company in the Dixiana Breeders' Futurity. After finishing fifth in that race and 13th in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, Conquest Titan won a nice optional claiming race by 1 3/4 lengths to end his 2-year-old season.
Conquest Titan started his 3-year-old campaign with a second place finish in the Grade 2 Holy Bull Stakes.
Conquest Titan was a nice pinhook for consignors, selling for $75,000 at the Keeneland September Sale in 2012 before being resold for $475,000 at Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's select 2-year-olds in training sale.
He is by Belmont Stakes winner Birdstone, who also sired Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird and champion 3-year-old Summer Bird. He is the first foal out of his unraced dam and from the family of Belmont Stakes winner Go and Go and 2,000 Guineas winner Refuse to Bend.
